Captain Kirk
William Shatner Signed Memorabilia and Star Trek Displays
Star Trek is one of the most heavily forged areas in television collecting, largely because convention signing has produced a huge volume of material of wildly varying provenance. Shatner pieces are worth buying only where the route is documented. Displays pairing him with Leonard Nimoy are the ones that hold value, since that combination is now permanently closed.

Why is Star Trek material considered higher risk?
Volume. Decades of convention signing means an enormous quantity circulates, and the forgeries hide easily inside that volume, so provenance carries more weight than usual here.
Are Shatner and Nimoy pieces more valuable together?
Yes. Nimoy died in 2015, so no new dual signed piece can be created, which puts a hard ceiling on supply.
What certification comes with these?
The WDW Certificate of Authenticity, signed by Derek Warwick and valid for as long as you own the piece.
